CBS2/KCAL9 News Report, COVID Tests For Students

Orange County, CA-CBS2/KCAL9 News reported today on delayed COVID tests from the State of CA. I spoke to reporter Michele Gile about the lack of tests in OC for students. Thanks to our wonderful OVSD parents who are keeping their kids home from school if they are feeling unwell. This is the right thing to do. Although we had many students out yesterday, we had over 6,500 present, which is great. If you’re concerned about your student’s return to school, contact your principal for guidance. We will support all students who remain at home as well as those in-person. Expect tests to be distributed at your school site on Thursday or Friday of this week. Great work OVSD, we will get through this surge.
