First Day of School in Cerritos

Cerritos, CA-First Day of School for my new 6th grade tigers in Cerritos. This year looks a little different, but we are all back together again in-person. Masks are worn at all times while indoors, and voluntary while outdoors. Most students kept them on while outside, out of an abundance of caution. The Delta Variant is prevalent in LA County, so we are vigilant. We have plexiglass corals for each student, a divider for me, and Heppa filtration machine as well. Per CDPH/LA County mandates, all students must keep 6ft from adults and 3ft from each other. It’s different, but we’re making the best of it. What really matters is that the kids are together again, where they belong. Welcome Back to School!
