OVSD Board of Trustees Meeting Comments

Huntington Beach, CA-From last night’s board of trustees’ meeting, my comments on future plans for OVSD can be heard. I am pleased to announce two board sub committees: the school consolidation committee which will be headed up by Clerk Jack Souders and Vice President Patricia Singer. Also, the Republic/ Wintersburg committee headed up by Trustee John Briscoe and myself. Also discussed the newly proposed bill by Senator Pan to make COVID vaccines mandated for all K-12 public school children per law, which would negate Governor Newsom’s personal exemption rights for students. We oppose taking away the personal exemption right.
