Swearing-in of the 116th Congress

Washington D.C.-Trustee Patricia Singer and I headed to the Capital today in Washington D.C. to witness our new Congressman Harley Rouda be sworn-in. We visited his office at the Rayburn Building, which was Dana Rohrabacher’s old office. We met with Majority Leader Steny Hoyer as well. We also had the honor of attending the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) reception invited by our friend Michael Sean Wright. It’s a great day for our country and we are excited for our Congress to get to work in a bipartisan manner for the good of all, especially our students.
